The location was marvellous - ease of access to Priory Park. It was located in a nice quiet area just off several quiet areas of the lounge, the theatre and Malvern Hills and town centre, a superb base for me. My room was functional and large, had hypoallergenic pillows and power sockets. The fact that it overlooked the rear.

It is set in the centre of the city.

Gorgeous and fairly clean place, more than adequate and competent staff with the attentive service from all staff. Location - great and stunning, near to the main shopping streets, the centre of Great Malvern, and the Priory restaurant. Also, in the beautiful hills.

Hotel bedrooms were too warm!

The location is comfortable, 5 km from Malvern Hills. The rooms are huge and bright with a view, so that guests have essentials.

Marvellous location, a short walk to a theatre and a tower. Very convenient to Edward Elgar. - New-fashioned rooms with hypoallergenic pillows and power sockets. - Comfortable interior.

Lovely hotel in a fantastic location. The room -staff -service was first class. The breakfast was excellant a great place to stay.

The Abbey is located in the heart of Great Malvern - handy for eating out.

There is quite a lot of noise outside the hotel. Oftern there is noise from the local night club and drunken young people walking past the hotel at the front. Often the Abbey have functions which can be quite noisey. On my first night the music from the function room was so loud that everything in the room was shaken. When I complained I was moved instantly to another room but I could still hear the noise. The rooms can also get very warm thereby the windows must be open - which becomes a problem with the noise!

We had a suite with great views and the staff was fantastic - friendly and there was nothing to complain about.

The matress on the bed needs changing, it sags in the middle and is not as comfortable as it should be. The public area carpets are starting to need changing

A good value hotel that I have stayed in before. This year I had a room in the new wing, which was more modern and better decorated. The breakfast was excellent and the evening meals likewise. Special praise to the room staff of my room 322, as on day one the light over the basin failed and I filled in the form provided but forgot to hand it to Reception, However, the room staff saw the form the next morning and dealt with the problem and on my return the light was fixed.......an excellent service that needs recognition.

The Abbey in Great Malvern is the perfect place to explore this charming town. the staff are attentive and provide excellent service. - the breakfast spread offers a variety of options, including cereal and pastries. - the location is stunning, near the Museum of Local History. - It is conveniently situated close to restaurants, the theatre, and the train station.

The staff were friendly, accommodation very comfortable, the grounds were attractive, and the food was good quality.
